Health Matters in Rossendale

Helen Catlow of Sunnyside Clinic in Crawshawbooth has just launched the first hard copy and online versions of a newsletter aimed at raising awareness to local consumers and professionals of alternative medicine services and treatments available here in the Valley.

You can download a .PDF version of the Newsletter at www.healthmattersonline.co.uk. Printed copies are available at libraries, health centres, beauticians and other outlets. (If you are visiting us at Essentially Natural we will gladly give you a copy).

The Newsletter is to be published once every two months and contains news and short articles on research into alternative health treatments, tips on nutrition, fitness and herbal supplements, and will explore the benefits of using organic cosmetics and toiletries to benefit those with allergies or other problems. Advice on various topics will be offered by local Rossendale experts as to where treatments and services can be obtained.

A worthy addition to local resources - thank you, Helen.

Don't miss out on the celebrations!

Give yourself or someone you love a royal treat this weekend!

If you or someone you know would appreciate something a little different to remember the royal wedding by, we're taking off 20% off selected products until midnight on Monday.

Pepermint and Cinnamon Chic Aromatherapy Soy CandleOur new Chic jar candle range will give the feeling of distinction to any household. Made from non-GM soy wax and a natural cotton wick with the addition of only 100% organic essential oils, they provide the best possible aromatherapy experience and make a beautiful gift.

We're including shipping on our extra large (550ml) range too, worth £5.40.

But wait, there's more!

Lavender Soy MeltsIf you're not into candles, why not try our soy heart melts which you can use with your own oil burner and a tea light to give a heavenly fragrance to any room. They avoid the danger of spilling water or oils and last a long, long time.

If you just don't like having candles or tea lights around, then why not give yourself or a loved one a treat with our Lover's Lavender Heart Gift Soaps, which you will enjoy for weeks after the royal day is over.

National Allergy Week

You may not know that this week is National Allergy Week. As many of our customers specifically buy our products because they either have allergies or have sensitive skin, I thought I would bring this site to your atention. It's a medical charity well worth supporting and there's alot of very useful information up there to help people who are not quite sure whether they do in fact have an allergy. Click here to read more
