Celebrate my new Guide dog this Bank Holiday Weekend!

As those of you who follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/e_nat or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/essentiallynaturaluk will know, I am training with a new guide dog at the moment.
 And, yes, sales are definitely down as my mind has not been on work.

But then I can't think of a nicer reason not to have to spend my time on marketing.

To celebrate, we're not only offering our usual Bank Holiday 20% off discount but are also giving Free Shipping to UK addresses until Tuesday 22nd April.

Barney is a puppy in his behaviour when out of harness and not working, but I have a feeling he will be able to cope with the difficult semi-rural environment we live in here in Rossendale.

My full training schedule starts on Tuesday, so my thoughts for the next month will again, I fear, be on Barney rather than on work.

You can, of course, always leave an answerphone message for us or email me if you need a query answering or prefer to order over the telephone and I will get back to you the same day if I can.

An update and some thoughts

A moment's rest before the next round of activity begins!

I'm glad to say that all the Mother's Day orders were posted in time and we have just one to deliver locally today. We seem to be getting back on track at last, at least in our production/orders/delivery schedule.

Also, the problem with our invoices showing with a Dollar symbol instead of a Pound sign has now been fixed. One thing I've learned from this: If you fix something yourself (however long and frustrating a process), you do come out with more knowledge and are more in control of your website than you were before!

But we still have a problem that I will have to get help for, but it does not affect the website from a customer's point of view.

FaceBook are (or should that, correctly, be is?) revamping their 'pages' app and layout, some of which will help customers and business providers, but I wonder about possible drawbacks. People do like familiarity, and too muych change too quickly may drive people away from FaceBook I fear.

And as the sunshine makes everyone, including me, feel happy - my thoughts are turning to new product ideas.

So watch this space!

As some of you will know, we have had to scale down our soap production temporarily as we do not have a fulltime production assistant in place at the moment.

WE have just made a new batch of our Chamomile and Nettle shampoo bars, Rose & Cocoa Butter soap and Extra Virgin Olive (Castile) soap.

As demand is always high for these, please pre-order now to get yours while stocks last!

We're Back in Business - January 2014

We're back in business!

We are back up and running after an extended holiday period spent with our family. While at the moment we have no soaps in stock, there are Soy Aromatherapy Candles, Skincare and Home Fragrance products in stock.

For the short term we will be reducing the number of soaps we will be selling in order to help our production efficiency, and we hope to reflect these changes on the website in the next few days, but in the meantime, if it's on the site, you can safely order!

January is the gloomiest month, they say, so why not pamper yourself with one of our moisturisers, or cheer your house up with a candle made from pure soy wax with the purest organic essential oils you can find!
