A look at some of our Christmas products

We're in full swing getting ready for the Christmas rush, so we thought we'd show you a few of our products being made.

Tony's been with us for exactly 5 years, but hates being in front of a camera. We'll catch him out one of these days, but in the meantime, watch these YouTube videos to see how everything we make is done by hand, with care and with love.

We've always loved making soy candles in star tins, so this year, as well as our Frankincense Star Candles, we've decided to make our popular Mandarin and Cinnamon as star tins for an extra Christmas Cheer. Once lit, these will fill your room with the smell of spices and tangerines that will last for hours and hours.

For those of you who have children and pets so are a little anxious about having candles around the house, our Organic Reed Diffusers are a safe, no-flame alternative. We use the same essential oils as in the candles, and you can "regulate" the amount of scent released by using fewer reeds. Use less reeds for a smaller room or to make the scent last longer.

When you're out and about to escape a family argument after Christmas, or just to clear your head the morning after, our Organic Peppermint Lip Balm will ensure your lips aren't damaged by the cold or damp. Made from organic sweet almond oil, you'll taste as good as you smell too, so watch the mistletoe!

Our newest product is just a must for the kitchen or wherever you have a wash basin. Once your friends and family have used it, I can guarantee they'll never look at another hand wash in the same way. Lime and ginger make a perfect combination and thoroughly clean your hands while leaving your skin soft and silky and the organic olive oil base is suitable even for the most sensitive skin.

Hi I'm Matt the new IT Apprentice,

I've been working on the new Trade website for all you traders out there. The trade site should be online any time soon and at first you may find a few bugs but all we ask is that you report these bugs and we will sort them out as soon as we can.

While I've worked at Essentially Natural I have had first hand experience with the soaps, candles and bodycare products and they all smell wonderful, I enjoy the smell of the Orange & Lemongrass candle because it great .

I like the aspect that all the products are made on site and none have any toxins.

It is very enjoy working at Essentially Natural, everyone here is pleasant and always welcoming, and it is very interesting working with someone that cannot see because everything you do is different you have to tell Dennis everything you are doing so that he knows. The only bad thing about this is he has the best hearing in the world and when my phones on vibrate he knows I'm using my phone =P

New Products, Loyalty Points and Offers August 2012

A lot has been happening since our last newsletter, so let's get started!

Firstly, you will notice some changes on our website E-Nat. We have streamlined our product ranges, have some new products online, some offers to save you money on our Limited Editions soaps, and you can now start saving up for Christmas with our new Loyalty Points on everything you buy.

Matthew, our new IT Apprentice, has been hard at work, and he's just putting the finishing touches to putting up information on the essential oils we use in our product ingredients. So if, for instance, you want to find out why we use organic jasmine in our Sensual Bath and Massage Oil, or the properties of Roman Chamomile in our Roman Chamomile Bath and Body Bar, you won't need to call us or Google it. Just click on the ingredient to find out more!

New Organic Hand Wash

Many people prefer to use hand washes rather than bars of soap these days, and so we have come up with one of our own. Our Organic Lime and Ginger Hand Wash uses a pure, organic liquid soap base made from organic olive oil. Lime essential oil is well known for its cleaning power, and this, combined with calming ginger, will leave your hands feeling silky smooth and smelling wonderful! No feeling of soapiness in this at all--just clean silkiness.

For those of you who prefer not to have the naked flame of our Soy Aromatherapy Candles, we are now producing our Reed Diffusers in bigger, better-value 200ml bottles. At the moment we produce our three standard scents of Citrus, Floral and Spice, but we are open to any suggestions you may have for new alternatives. The proviso, of course, being that we can only use organic essential oils, so no "Fresh Bread" or Sea Breeze" I'm afraid!

Limited edition Soaps

You may notice that we have taken some familiar products off the site as they were not selling as well as we had hoped. But, because they are popular with some of you, we will continue to produce Limited Editions of these in smaller numbers. These will be updated regularly. Read Here to see what's available now!

And finally something for you every time you buy

I've never really liked having to type in coupon codes to get special offers, and much prefer to be given points to spend when I like. We’re very pleased to be able to offer Loyalty Points to spend at the time of your order or to save up for a later occasion. A bit late, I know, because of the floods, but we have good news for you if you have friends or relatives in the EU or if you yourself live in the EU.

Back to normal after the floods

You will all be aware of the dismal summer we're having, and some of you may have seen our little village of Irwell Vale affected by the floods on Breakfast TV. We were fortunate that our home itself was not affected by the flash flood but the workshop was. Despite the hard work needed to get everything cleaned up, it has given us time to freshen up the workshop and our ideas too. This is just in time for our new IT apprentice starting next week, but more about that next time.

We're now up and running again and back to normal production and all delayed orders are being sent out this week. Thank you for your patience and understanding if you've had to wait longer than usual for out-of-stock items to be made.

We are developing an organic hand wash (with no synthetics or nasties of course), and are interested to know which fragrances you prefer? Our top choice at the moment is lime and ginger, but we're very much open to your ideas.

Our solid shampoo bars Number 2'd in 'Top 5 Ravel essentials' on Florida Holidays blog
